Red’s Catfish Cabin overlooks 11 acres of catfish ponds in Rural Clay County. It began with the idea of raising enough catfish in the surrounding ponds to support the restaurant. Red’s serves more than 1200 lbs. of fried catfish every week. Folks frequently drive from Montgomery, Birmingham, Atlanta and other areas to sample its menu of mouth-watering fried catfish, hushpuppies, fries and slaw.
