The Clay County Economic Development Council is a local development organization having authority to negotiate for the county and the municipalities of Ashland and Lineville on all industrial and economic development matters. The board has an XXXX member board comprised of local leadership. Board members are all listed below.CCEDA supplements its own resources by working with strategic partners from the public and private sector, such as the Department of Commerce, the East Alabama Regional Planning and Development Commission (EARPDC), and local utilities.
